Many people who are working in tension, stress and fatigue life look for physical health and relaxation. Some kinds of exercise nowadays are popular, such as jogging, swimming, yoga, basketball, baseball, badminton, tennis and so on. I have chosen yoga to exercise and train for four years, and it is really good for me not only for staying in good health physically but also for keeping inner tranquility mentally. Doing yoga follows only some steps that include a suitable place, a yoga cushion, a set of loose clothes, some yoga movements and a peaceful mood.
First of all, a quiet and warm place is necessarily for the yoga exercise. It helps trainees adapt the new peaceable environment easily even when you do it at the office. Normally, I do yoga at living room or bedroom, and put a yoga cushion on the ground in order to create a place where I can do exercise freely.
Next, yoga exercise is a kind of stretch training; therefore, doing it is needed to wear a slack and loose T-shirt which absorbs sweat fully. The material, 95% polyester and 5 % elasticity fiber, of the clothes is the best choice. It can support the trainee to do any movement what he or she wants. Sometimes, I do yoga naked because I can see problems of pose clearly, and then I can adjust my pose in order to do it safely and correctly.
Next, there are lots of movement of yoga, such as mountain pose, forward bend, kneeling warrior, kneeling forward bend, downward facing dog, upward facing dog and etc. Never do the movements that you cannot endure. Doing the yoga movement must be step by step; otherwise, your tendon or muscle might be hurt. It is very import that warms up before any exercise. I usually do the yoga movements that are good for male. For example, kneeling warrior, praying mantis pose, camel pose and moon worship pose due to muscle training. I also feel quite comfortable after doing yoga and it also keeps me in a good health body.
Finally and the most importantly, after doing movements, the trainee has to lie down with a deep breathing and peace mood for fifty minutes at least, and then empty his or her mind. It’s the most import part of yoga due to that it helps the trainees to relax themselves completely. Later, they will feel relaxation than before. But never fall asleep; otherwise, it will be easily to catch a cold. I particularly like this part because it purifies my whole body when I empty my mind. I also feel very peaceful and comfortable mentally.
In conclusion, yoga is a great exercise for me. It benefits me for remaining a good physical condition and having a stable and quiet mind. It takes some steps which are an appropriate place, a comfortable cushion, easeful clothes, some yoga movements and a relaxing mood.
