About the reading class.

Above reading strategies which collected from classmates are very effective in reading. I always can not find out the meaning of the article when I read the essay before. Because I don't know what's the correct way to read the short essay, and I don't know the meaning of the vocabularies as well. I think it is always my big problem when I was reading. Luckily, I know how to solve these problems after study this reading class. Normally, the first step is checking the title and the last sentence of the essay. And the second is checking the pictures. It is always the main idea that the authors wants to express to reader.
About the new words that I never seen before. I can try to guess the meaning of vocabulary by the words or sentence next to these new words. Basically, I can reach the meaning of the vocabulary about 60 percent. We also had the chance to speak the essay during our class. It is a special and amazing experience. I don't remember that I have been spoken the English to classmates before. Even though I have felt nervous, but I like this feeling. It can not only train to speak to audiences but find the problems of pronunciation.

We have learned the ten reading strategies for three weeks. In my opinion, "Mind Mapping" is the effect of reading strategy for me. It is the best way to remember new words. It also can make you to think more idea about the essay. To sum up, we have to use these tools to study the reading, no matter what strategy we want to use. Or we will have nothing from this reading class.
