About the movie, I want to talk about this family,
Father is a reticent man and always endures to his wife’s unreasonable and selfish personality without any words. He can’t do anything once their family has to face the pressure of loan form the bank. Finally, their son made the decision to give up his dream and work then went back to the hotel to find the way of solution, It’s not easy to understand. The people of the western always put their dream or work at first and the family at the second, but the boy made this choice because he thought his parents is more important than this dream which be a famous artist, it’s different with USA’s culture.
And the mother, she is short of the sense of security and self-absorbed, she would rather to let the bank to seal up her hotel than pay the money to the bank even she has 3 millions dollar.
Their son is very angry and disappoint once he saw his mother has such more money. Because he abandoned his dream and job due to this hotel due to he thought they don’t have any money.
Later, he asked his father, why you can stand my mother more than thirty years? His Father said because I love her. How a simple sentence but it’s not easy to speak out.
